Frequently Asked Questions |
| |
What are the desired improvements? |
Installation of Synthetic Turf - COMPLETED!
Starting from the inside and moving out, we are planning on utilizing the initial funds to replace the current surface with a synthetic surface. This will greatly improve availability and usage in all weather conditions not only for the football program, but also for the soccer and band programs. Increased usage
should generate more revenue for the schools through increased gate receipts and/or rental fees. |
| |
Upgrading our Restroom and Concession Facilities.
The current restroom and concession facilities will be replaced to more adequately address present demands. The stadium capacity has increased over the years as our community has grown, but the restroom facilities remain relatively unchanged from when they were first built. |
| |
Replace Existing Home Grandstand and Add Capacity to Visitor's Grandstand.
The current 1,800 seat home grandstand would be replaced by an approximate 2,500 seat grandstand, including additions to the existing press box. The new grandstand will be built per current ADA standards and will include over 200 theatre style seats. |
| |
Adding Additional Locker Rooms and Practice Fields.
Currently, only the home football team has access to a locker room within the stadium. Dual locker rooms
need to be added for use by the home soccer teams and visiting soccer/football teams. The school owns
approximately 40 acres of undeveloped land adjacent to the current varsity football practice field. Plans
include adding additional practice fields in the future with the dirt excavated during the installation of the
field turf. |
| |
Improving the Entrance to the Stadium.
Modifying the entrance to the stadium to include a Wall of Honor as well as improved landscaping. |

Other Important Questions |
| |
Based on the list of improvements to be made, why not just build a stadium at the new high school?
Good question! In order to provide similar amenities at the new high school, there would have been additional costs of nearly $2 million, verses renovating the current site. |

What happens if I give a donation after the initial phase commences, but not enough money is raised to commence subsequent phases of the Master Plan?
If we don’t reach 100% of our fundraising goal, but do receive sufficient donations to warrant a revised construction plan for future phases, the Stadium Advisory Committee will do so. If Phase 1 is ultimately the only phase undertaken, any excess funds received above and beyond the cost of Phase 1 will be reserved for the repair and/or replacement of Phase 1 items. |

Who will own the new improvements, including the field turf?
The Lebanon School District will continue to own all of the property and related improvements. |
| |
Who will prioritize the scheduling of events to occur on the new field?
Contributions to the project will not impact the priority of which field activities are scheduled. Scheduling of such events will be the responsibility of the school. |
| |
How will I be assured that my donation is tax deductible?
The Warren County Foundation (a tax-exempt 501c(3) organization) will send you an acknowledgement letter upon receipt of your donation. |
